When designing ceramic hot press-casting abrasive tools, the production and development of small batches are mostly in the form of a single mold, and the net size is used as much as possible, so that there is no need for mechanical processing in the subsequent process, and the direct sintering after the blank is completed. Large-scale production requires the design of a multi-cavity mold. In any case, the designed ceramic hot press-casting mold is favorable for grouting, easy to demould, high yield, low labor intensity and simple structure.
Regarding the material of the ceramic hot press-casting mold, wrought iron, cast iron or hard aluminum, 45# steel is generally used, and the size of the molded part is multiplied by the size of the scale according to the size of the product; at the same time, it is also set in the ceramic hot pressing casting mold. There is a venting groove to prevent the blank from being corroded and wrapped with gas; the design of the grouting port is generally a bell mouth, but the angle depends on the size of the product.
When designing a ceramic hot-press-casting mold, the three-dimensional model drawing method can be used to directly generate a CAD two-dimensional plan after the structural optimization process, or directly generate a three-view generation using the CAXA electronic drawing board. After the ceramic hot press casting mold is finished, it should be properly heat treated according to the actual production needs to reduce the loss during molding. The heat treatment method varies according to the material, but follows the general heat treatment law of the material.
After the completion, the ceramic hot-press-casting mold is tested, and it is judged whether the mold meets the production requirements, whether the blank is in accordance with the ideal state, and the mold is required to determine whether the mold is suitable for production. However, it should be noted that before the ceramic hot die casting mold is tested, it is necessary to check whether the mold clamping is intact and the size meets the design requirements.
