An important part of the ceramic mold making process is the casting process. The casting method and the post-forging cooling and annealing technology make the ceramic mold smoothly formed.

There are many heat treatment processes for molds, but different heat treatment processes such as annealing, normalizing or quenching and tempering should be selected according to different materials and requirements of ceramic molds to improve the arrangement, eliminate the structural defects of the cast blank, and improve the processing technology.

For the heat treatment of ceramic molds, quenching and tempering are quite critical links. If the furnace is overheated during quenching, it will not only cause the workpiece to form a large brittleness, but also cause deformation and cracking during cooling, which seriously affects the ceramic mold. Service life.

Therefore, when the ceramic mold is quenched and heated, special attention should be paid to avoid oxidation and decarburization. The heat treatment process standard should be strictly controlled. Under the condition of conditional approval, vacuum heat treatment can be used. After quenching, it should be tempered in time, and different tempering processes should be selected according to the skill requirements.

However, the reason why the ceramic mold is to be annealed after the roughing is to eliminate the internal stress formed by the roughing, to avoid deformation and cracking caused by excessive quenching, and to ensure the quality of the ceramic mold.
